How to deal with the high suction lift self-priming pump after it is worn out

High suction lift self-priming pumps often cause wear between the hub of the balance disc and the balance sleeve during operation. The repair method after wear is as follows:


1. The balance plate and the balance plate are worn out and become uneven. You can use the coloring method on the scraping plate to increase production and scrape off the high points. Finally, install the balance plate and the balance plate on the pump for matching research, so that the surface is flat, until the circumference can be evenly contacted.


2. If the wear is serious and has no repair value, it should be replaced with a new one.


The guide bearing of the high suction self-priming pump bears the radial unbalanced force of the impeller and the pump shaft. There are two types of Babbitt bearings and non-metallic bearings. The latter is lubricated by water, simple in structure, reliable in operation, but poor in wear resistance; the former The wear resistance is good, but the structure is complicated. The oil self-circulation system and the water seal device below often break down and damage the bearing, which affects reliability. It has a tendency to be replaced by non-metallic water lubricated bearings. After a water pump with non-metallic bearings runs for a period of time, the bearings and journals will wear out, the radial clearance of the bearings will increase, the swing of the main shaft and the impeller will increase, and the radial clearance will increase to a certain value. The lateral vibration is severe, which will further cause the blade to hit the shell. The treatment method is spraying the journal, turning round or replacing the bearing.

The bilateral clearance of bearings of high suction self-priming pumps after wear should be controlled within 0.6 times of the design blade bilateral clearance, and overhaul should be considered when exceeding this value. When the unit is installed, reduce the axis swing and improve the vertical concentricity of the fixed parts, which is beneficial to slow down the wear of the water pump guide bearing.
